Is Le Mont-Saint-Michel Worth Visiting?

Le Mont-Saint-Michel is one of the most beautiful locations in Europe. Of course, it is worth visiting. As one of the most visited islands in France, it welcomes almost 3 million tourists annually.

The magical island is one of the most magnificent islands in the world. Popular for its frequently rising and falling tides, Le Mont-Saint-Michel is absolutely stunning. When in high tides, the island is surrounded by drifting water on all sides and with barely any edges, and it seems to be adrift when seen from afar.

Additionally, the island is so strategically located that a single day’s visit should be a crime. It is located at the edge of the Brittany and the Normandy regions. This makes it easier to explore both regions from Le Mont-Saint-Michel.

For hiking enthusiasts, walking the fortifications of the island located at Porte Échauguette is a major chill factor. The view of the ocean on one side, and the old architectural pattern of the buildings on another side has a relaxing effect on tourists.

Exploring Mont Saint Michel itself is a major tourist attraction. From the exterior of the monastery, to its elegant halls and serene corridors, you might find yourself taking more pictures than you intended.

Although it’s a relatively small village, a visit to Le Mont-Saint-Michel is definitely worth it.…
